John Simm (b.1970, Leeds) is a British actor. He grew higher within Nelson, Lancashire.

He appeared inside the total of British TV shows like Cracker and in the unsuccessful film Boston Kickout prior to appearing in the televsion series A Streams, lakes, & wells throughout and in the popular film Human Traffic. He as well starred in the acclaimed 2003 Paul Abbott serial State of Play. His best known section was swimming Bernard Sumner from Joy Division and New Order fame in the 2002 flim 24 Hour Party People, starring alongside Ralf Little and Steve Coogan.
